IAM Technique

Learn to Relax

Initiated by Amma, the IAM: Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique®, synthesises time-tested traditional methods of yoga, breathing exercises and meditation into one simple, highly effective practice. Suitable for experienced meditators and complete beginners, IAM has helped over 500,000 people around the globe to find peace and relaxation.

We offer two versions. The IAM 20 (20 mins) has no religious significance and is intended for busy people and organisations, such as companies, hospitals, prisons, universities, etc. The IAM 35 (35 mins) is intended for those who wish to deepen their spiritual practice.

Courses

IAM Meditation is taught at our Bromley centre, around the UK and online. Refresher courses are held to help fine-tune the practice and keep the momentum going.

IAM20 trainings for groups and organisations can be arranged at your premises or at our 200 sq m Amrita Hall in Bromley. Contact us to find out more.

Those who have previously completed the formal IAM20 training and wish to practice as part of a group are invited to join us online on Sundays from 9:45 – 10:30am. Check here for details.

Instructors

All the instructors who teach the IAM technique have been approved by Amma. They have a long practice of meditation, are specifically trained to teach IAM meditation and are committed to providing quality teaching.

IAM courses are offered as a service to society and are free of charge. Donations towards Amma’s charitable activities are very much appreciated.

Silent retreats

Amma often talks about the benefit of taking one day a month to be in silence and concentrate on one’s spiritual practices.

Run approximately 2 to 3 times a year, these retreats offer a precious opportunity to dive deep within and recharge your spiritual practice and inner connection.

Through walking and sitting meditation, yoga and reflection on spiritual quotes, participants access a deep state of peace and calm, experience a release of stress and tension, and a new sense of energy and resolve.
